Arma 3 Knowledge base expansion: Delete an Existing Building in ArmA 3
So as Title Says: Step 1 Open the file "mission.sqm" with a text editor. Step 2 Look for the building you wish to remove. In our example, it is the barracks in the Kavala market square. (insert first Picture) Step 3 Click on "ID". You should see many numbers. Zoom into the building until you can read what the ID of the building is. Step 4 Double-clicking on the building will open a window. Click on "Blank->Objects (helper)->Lawn mower (small)". On the right you will see a blank field. Add the following: this enableSimulation false; this allowDamage false; delh = [0,0,0] nearestObject 1779863; delh hideObject true; delh = [0,0,0] nearestObject OBJECTIDHERE; delh hideObject true; You would place the ID of the building you're trying to hide where "OBJECTIDHERE" is. For our example, we would use: this enableSimulation false; this allowDamage false; delh = [0,0,0] nearestObject 1779863; delh hideObject true; delh = [0,0,0] nearestObject 1117336; delh hideObject true; Step 5 After that is done, click preview and the building has vanished!
